A Session
I welcome assignments or results to be sent to me before the session. During the session, I work with students to identify and correct mistakes. I reinforce new content by having students guide me through the steps of the process.
After the session, I write up the content we covered, the techniques we practiced, homework for next week and any scores.
My Services
I tutor math, writing, history, literature, and standardized tests.
SAT, ACT, and math tutoring in my office in south Acton or over Zoom is $95 per hour. Please inquire about the rates for other types of tutoring; fees depend on the amount of preparation needed. I will tutor at the student’s home for an additional driving fee.
Policies
Students are welcome to sign up for any number of sessions they like. However, once a session is confirmed, payment is required except in cases of illness or emergency. Payment is due once the write-up of the session is sent out. If a student has signed up for a regular weekly session, I need 72- hours’ notice for any changes.
I accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, checks, and cash. Payment is due shortly after the lesson is completed.
